DIY planner

Despite everything being electronic and our phones now, I am old school and like to have a regular ol' planner to keep in my purse.

I picked up this simple planner at Target for about $3 I think.

I bought some stickers too from Hobby Lobby. When I made my last purchase from Joss & Main (which I talked about here), my items came wrapped in some pretty gold and silver paper. Which I kept like a crazy packrat.

I cut out a piece of the gold paper and used a paper punch to punch out some stars.

I took the planner out of the plastic sleeve and cut some scrapbook paper (which I also used on my diy iphone case) to the size of my planner.

I glued on the numbers and stars and added a little piece of ribbon. I just used a little mod podge and glue. Then I just put my new cover back in the plastic sleeve with the planner.

And now I have a fun personalized planner! Makes me excited for the new year!

Do you still use a paper planner like me?
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

  7. Hi Jackie, I feel the same too about many things. Despite the presence of technology, I still appreciate the old school of writing on a planner! You are very creative and let me say that your design for the planner is very artistic. You must have also collated many materials with your love for DIY :D

BTW, would you like us to be each other's follower? Take care :)
